Wideskall Nylon Plastic Spring Clamps Review

Bought these to hold the bird net. The orange rocker arms are easy to remove. You can put them back on when you find them. But the price is quite low, so what do you expect?

I have been using these clips for many years on various projects. They are so easy to get. I've never bought them from Revain before. This is the first time one of the orange end clips has fallen off of several of them on their first use. When I replaced them, some fell off again - that's annoying!

I use it for small clamping work where no spring force is required. The plastic part of each clip is different from other clips in the same package. It looks like they demolded the plastic potions before they had cooled, and that's why they're all deformed. However, they do their job.

Loved the price and convenience of the large package of universal clamps. We use them around the house for pantry bags, toiletry bags, street lamp hangers, holding papers together, pinning socks together, etc. If you want high quality or beauty this isn't for you. If you're looking for utility clips, this is for you.

These clamps do not correspond at all to the advertised functionality. The springs are too strong for normal model building applications. In addition, the pads are unstable and easily detach due to overly strong springs. If a small strong jig is appropriate they can work well - I haven't found such a use in modeling yet.

At first I was impressed with these little clamps until I used them for the first time. I used them in a very simple function, there was no pressure on the clamps, but at least half of the orange tips fell off the clamps when I tried to remove them. What a waste of effort to produce and sell something so bad, it could have been a good product with little effort and quality control by the manufacturer/seller. I will not waste time and energy to return them. Shame on you too, Revane!

They did NOT open 1.5 inches as advertised. They didn't fit a 2x4 exactly 1.5 inches thick. The actual maximum opening is about 1.25 inches, which may not be a problem for some buyers, but for me it was a waste of time and money as they didn't work for my application. They also seem pretty cheap but I can't use them so I can't test their durability.

On the first attempt to use them to temporarily hold thin fabrics together without stress, the orange flat parts fell off and 2 of the first 3 broke. Be very careful, break less, but they just need more quality. Having done this outdoors as I use a variety of garden sizes to secure row cover fabric and horticultural insect netting without organics or chemicals I hate dropping broken plastic pieces. in my grass and garden soil where they are hard to find. I bought these to attach plastic wrap to a circular jig I made to catch dripping paint while rotating my canvases. They are perfect for that. If the seller wants to improve the product with the next batch, I have a few suggestions for potential buyers to think about when purchasing. 1) The springs on them are exceptionally strong.
