Beautiful painting/drawing book! The paper is thick enough to prevent ink seepage but flexible enough to flip without being stiff. The pages are numbered/numbered so they can be torn off if needed.

Said to be for mixed media but the paper warped under the Posca markers and pens. The tablet's surface is bright. The tone is also greyish. I bought 300g Arteza notebooks instead, I'm missing the spiral at the top and will look for it the next time I buy a notebook.

This paper may appear suitable for watercolour, but it is not. It reminds me of the colored heavyweight paper used in elementary school, only thicker but not strong or stiff enough to work with watercolors. The color is also more of a bluish white compared to regular watercolor paper. Now I use it for drawing.

We used a Copec marker, Pentel colored pencil and watercolor pencil purchased from Revain. The Copec marker showed through, but the Pentel pen and watercolor pencil didn't show through. The paper itself is textured and slightly thicker than Strathmore Sketch but thinner than Canson Mix Media. Overall, my kids are happy with these drawing pads.

The sketchbook came torn and with nicks on the cover. The paper inside is frayed, folded and torn. There is brown dirt on the sides of the paper which was really gross. Many Thanks. Advantages? The quality of the mixed paper is good, textured on both sides so I wish I could use the damaged sides. I'm disappointed. I was planning to draw a sketchbook cover to personalize it, but I can't do it when it's folded, torn, and scored.

Bought for my daughter to match her Christmas craft kit and it's great. Now I really have to say this is a super large notebook, it's not exactly something I would see a small child carrying around, it's really big and thick like a heavy book. But she's 17 and left-handed, so it's hard to find quality left-handed laptops without a spiral on the side. This worked great for her as it is a top spool so nothing gets in her way while painting and being huge it will last her a long time.

I love this sketchbook. I've had mine for at least 2 years now and I love it, it's definitely worth the money. I sometimes like to use markers in my work and they don't smudge at all. While I'm not entirely sure about colors, they work with markers (also markers), crayons, and of course a pencil. First impressions are that this is a good paper considering the price. I've compared it to Canson Mixed Media and it seems a little thinner and it's a cool gray shade of white instead of Canson's warm tone. I got it because it's the ONLY 9x12 mixed media top spiral notepad (Canson has a drawing pad but no water support). After drawing a few pages I can give it one last star.
