    Use with mesh satellites.

I use this device in a mesh system and found the documentation a bit lacking and after a few days of trying I found the settings that worked for me. I hope this helps anyone using the grid system. My satellite network is the third in this system and I'm about 150 feet from the main node and 40 feet from the second satellite. I am living on this property in my RV until my house is built nearby. I got a Wi-Fi signal from the second mesh and used it for several months, but the desired speed was…

Works great but a bit expensive.

I have been using this product for about a month now. Before that, I had to reboot the router at least once a day. Working far from home and having full security, I needed reliable internet. I found this product by accident as I was using a simple time switch before resetting. After installing it, I haven't had any disconnect issues apart from one incident, but I'm pretty sure I just caught it resetting. The only problem is that I find it a bit overpriced, but so far it's working great.

    Ideal router holder

Purchased as a router holder. My router was intermittently crashing and this is perfect for this use case. The mobile app is fine, but I mainly use the local web interface. Works perfectly.

It works, you need a wired connection.

I bought it because it had wired ethernet to test internet connection, not wifi. The app isn't perfect and it would be nice if it could talk to the device locally and see the status instead of just talking to the cloud app. Maybe I missed something in the configuration. It works as advertised and resets it on request and on loss of signal.

    Great Remote Power Management

A bit awkward when first registering devices on the site, but great sailing after that! The phone app and device control through the website is great, love it. can't rename each device or give it a friendly name (if you can have more than 1), I have 2 but I'm only using 1 at the moment and don't want to get confused and power cycle the wrong server/computer/device.

An excellent device to ensure the reliability of your home network.

After I bought a cable modem to save money on renting equipment from my ISP, I noticed that after 6 months of internet spikes or updates, my modem was having frequent connection problems. My modem problems were solved by simply resetting the modem, so I started looking for a solution to this problem, especially when there was no one home to reset the modem. To my surprise, this reset smart plug has been on the market for over 7 years and is worth every penny. Although the socket is made in…

    Remote reboot does its job.

I recently purchased and installed four of these units. We all work remotely and from time to time the computer freezes, usually due to a Windows update. In the past I had to drive to the office and restart the computer manually in this case. Now I do it remotely with ezOutlet3. I have one on each of our four office computers. Every time I've used ezOutlet3 it has worked great and saved me a trip to the office. Tech Note: You must reset your computer's BIOS to restart your computer after a…

    • Discontinued

I have used other products for my work environment which cost more but last over 8 years. This product was not as good as an 8 year old product. The app just redirected to a web page and never found the device even though I was connected to the same network. It technically worked, but without app support it wasn't remotely accessible and therefore didn't make sense. For use, I'd rather set up a Wi-Fi enabled port connected to my router (a second Wi-Fi network) to remotely control the main Wi-Fi

    • State of the art

The way I use this device is what counts in my rating. In my case I have a cabin with internet that sometimes goes down a few times a week. I also have a honeywell wireless thermostat in the cab. In order to control the temperature in my cabin, my internet must be on. However, due to storms and other conditions and poor ISP service, the modem stays disconnected when it goes down until I get into the cockpit and reboot. This is a big problem for those of us who heat our cabins in the winter. If…

To my surprise, this reset smart plug has been on the market for over 7 years and is worth every penny. We have ATT u-verse internet over copper at my second home. From time to time the modem freezes or loses connection due to ATT firmware update. This device is ideal for restarting a modem. It will require some tweaking to tell it to wait "15 minutes" or "900 seconds" before turning off [this gives the modem enough time to 1) reconnect due to a firmware update boot 2) give it time to install the firmware and try a reboot ]. Once you set it up, it just works by checking every few minutes to see…
