Love this mount. I needed something to use behind my monitors to hold my Sony mirrorless. Although you have to buy an accessory to allow for rotation and adjustment, this mount is awesome. Durable and well made. Part of me wants to take a star off because you have to buy an extra piece, but part of me thinks it's just a mount and it's being sold that way on purpose. In any case, you can't go wrong with this mount.

6 Month Update: This item has doubled in price since I reviewed it ($19-$40). It's still better than Multi Mount, but I would look at other options. I would also include a swivel head in the price as you will likely need it. Pros: - Reasonable maximum height - Thickness adjustable table clamp - Very strong (holds E-M1 II, can easily mount a heavier camera) - 1/4 thread Cons: - Stand riveted to base/clamp - Adjusting the table thickness may become sluggish over time weaken .

This C-Clamp table lamp stand works well with LED panel or ring lights as long as they are not too heavy (e.g. COB LED lights). I used it for Aputure Amran HR672 LED bar with 20x20 lightbox. No problems, very durable. I'm pretty sure it will work just fine with Adorama's 19-inch LED ring light too. Overall, the material, quality and workmanship are very good. Bottom clamp is for clamping the edge of a flat table. For a long time. Most tables are no longer separate areas as they used to be. In my case the table frame is below; there is no single point of a simply flat table except at the left and right edges; even then it is only an inch wide. It's not enough for that. I tried clamping the frame bar but since the clamp is straight C it wobbles because the adjustment screw is too thin. This basically assumes that the surfaces are perfect everywhere…

Stable, very satisfied and don't think I will have any problems with the workmanship. However, it has a fairly limited height range of 12 inches to 20 inches above the desk. Valid only 8 inch range. That will probably be enough for me, but I think I expected more. It would be nice if it could sit on a table under 12 inches.
