Great for loafers and slip on shoes

This was very handy until I tried to use it to put on boots, then it snapped in 3 pieces. But for spring and summer shoe selection, it was great and I was able to take it apart for travel.

Pros
  • Empowers individuals to maintain their independence and dignity with daily tasks
Cons
  • The sock removal tool may not fit all foot sizes, making it ineffective for some

DRESSING HOOK IS GREAT - SHOE HORN NOT SO MUCH

GOT THIS FOR UPCOMING HIP REPLACEMENT. DRESSING HOOK WORKS GREAT. SHOE HORN WORKS OK, BUT KINDA FLIMSY. FEELS LIKE IT IS GOING TO BREAK. IT IS PLASTIC AND NOT ALL 1 PIECE - 3 PIECES THAT SCREW TOGETHER. SO KINDA BENT AND MADE CREAKING SOUNDS THAT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS GETTING READY TO BREAK.SO GOT A LONG METAL SHOE HORN TO REPLACE THIS INSTEAD AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH THAT. WILL STILL USE THE CLOSE HOOK 1/2 OF THIS - HAS GOOD REACH, ETC. - BUT MUCH HAPPIER WITH A METAL SHOE HORN.

Pros
  • Saves time and effort in the morning routine
Cons
  • The dressing stick may not be able to hold heavier clothing items

35 " Long Dressing Stick

I got this for my husband because he wears bib overalls and has been having a difficult time trying to get the straps over his shoulder to get them hooked on the front. I'm happy to say with a little bit of practice, it has helped him with putting on his overalls. He's a 6'3" big guy and the fact that it has a shoe tongue on the other end, has also helped him put his shoes on. As new seniors, we don't like to admit that we need help with things that we have always been able to do for ourselves,

Pros
  • Helps prevent frustration or anxiety when struggling to get dressed
Cons
  • The dressing stick may exacerbate skin irritation or sensitivity on certain individuals

Great Product good for me

It worked perfect. For a long time I couldnt remove my compression stockings by myself. I had to wait on someone to help me until I bought this product.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • The product may be too heavy for some individuals to lift and handle

Broke less than 4 months after purchase

Beware! Loved this dressing stick/shoe horn until it suddenly broke this morning. You'd expect a product like this would last longer than 4 months! Will search for a replacement elsewhere.

Pros
  • The products arrived and look as expected they are for a gift and have not been used yet.
Cons
  • Not able to walk well, use for putting braces on and off, and occasionally to reach something .

It makes life a little easier.

Occupational therapy suggested this item to add me in putting clothes back in my closet. After multiple back surgeries, I can not stand and put clean clothes back into my closet. I can now pull up a chair, sit in front of my closet, take clean clothes out of basket, put them on a hanger and hang them them up (even heavy jeans) with this tool. It helps get my shoes on easier to boot. It makes life a little easier.

Pros
  • Dressing Aid Sticks
Cons
  • The dressing stick may be confusing or difficult to use for some individuals

Better than expected

I like the fact that you can disassemble it. Also it is sturdy and just the right length for putting on shoes while standing. This is my second on purchased. This one is going into my trunk with my golf clubs to make it easier while changing from my regular shoes to golf shoes and back again. Definitely worth the purchase.

Pros
  • The shoe horn helps preserve the shape of shoes and prolong their lifespan
Cons
  • The sock removal tool may be difficult to clean or sanitize

One heck of a horn!

One heck of a horn! I bought this for my dad who was 83 years old they wouldn’t have to bend down or putting on his shoes. Like there’s so much I bought one for myself. Good construction solid when assembled and you can make it several different sizes.

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • The sock removal tool may cause static and clinginess in some sock materials

Strong and well made

I'm still learning how best to use it but it is easy use and very handy. The hook broke off after a couple of months use, I cannot find any way to order a new hook without buying an entire new tool.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • The product may not be aesthetically pleasing or match home decor

35 " dressing stick with shoe horn works great!

I've seen reviews that said it broke when they put it together but if you don't screw the pieces together really tight there's not a problem. When I put mine together I tightened till they stopped. There was a small gap between the pieces but as long as you don't try to make them meet together you'll be fine, and don't forget that it's plastic and not ment to pick up heavy items.1 year later and it is still working and in 1 piece. I also use it every day.

Pros
  • After shoulder surgery this is a great help in getting dressed. Made well.
Cons
  • The sock removal tool may not work effectively on thicker or tighter socks

Kinda cool device for my opinion

I'm iso the perfect hip and knee replacement aids, esp compact ones that I can take with me. This little tool is great for that. With a simple twist, the three parts fit together and the parts can be used as one, as two, or as each piece separately. This feature makes the tool adjustable which is a great thing. The dressing stick part is different from what I'm used to, but on the go may be just the thing. All in all, the price is good, the value is good, worth a try.

Pros
  • Perfect!
Cons
  • The shoe horn may not be able to handle heavy-duty shoes

I disliked the plastic for removing my stockings. The plastic is hard. I had a similar product and the part to insert to remove the stockings was soft and did not hurt my heel when removing my stockings.

Pros
  • No more struggling to put on socks and shoes
Cons
  • The shoe horn may not be ergonomic, causing discomfort or strain on the hands

Broken dressing stick at connecection of part one & two

I like that it breaks down for travel. However I was trying to push a shoe off and it snapped at the connection. How do I return the item? I am reordering now as I had a back fusion and can't reach below my knees without a dressing stick. This item is a portable dressing stick for me that is lighter and shorter to take with me.

Pros
  • abc
Cons
  • The dressing stick may not be adjustable, limiting its usefulness for individuals with varying needs

Essential post surgery

Sturdy, breaks down for travel. Dressing hooks work great for removing socks after hip surgery. Shoe horn has great length and works great

Pros
  • JJDPARTS
Cons
  • The shoe horn may be too slippery to grip on certain shoe materials

The price was cheap . . .

But I'm not sure it was worth even that. I can't get the pieces to screw in all the way, so there's gaps between the pieces. To top it off, the hooks on the end of this "dressing stick" are too thick and wide. I purchased it to help with putting on certain sneakers with loops on the back of them, because the heels tend to fold down when I put my foot in - I needed something to keep the heel from folding in and preventing me from getting the sneaker on all the way. The hooks are way too thick…

Pros
  • Makes dressing easier for people with arthritis or other conditions affecting hand/finger grip strength
Cons
  • The shoe horn may not be able to handle shoes with tight or narrow openings

Gives you some independence

I had hip surgery. Then had to go back in to you have a revision less than five weeks later. Now I have just a spacer for eight weeks. Then I go back for the third time to get my second hip put in. If you having a hip or knee replacement or surgery you’ve got to get something like this.

Pros
  • I liked it very portable
Cons
  • Don’t buy unless need minor assistance. Flimsy and awkward for older hands.

Long enough, so don't have to hardly bend over.

Nice and long so no bending. Easy to put together. Helps me slide my foot in my shoe, with no problem. Can take apart and put in your suitcase for traveling.

Pros
  • Durable Construction
Cons
  • The dressing stick may not be flexible enough to bend and contour to the body's curves

I'm recovering from a back surgery and I can't yet reach my feet enough to put socks or shoes, on or off. My sock puller I got at the hospital broke. This one is sturdy and well made. I is 3 pieces, which makes traveling with it easier. I wondered if the length was too much and it's not, it's perfect. This is a recommend to buy!

Pros
  • It's lightweight and portable for use at home or while traveling
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for individuals with allergies or sensitivities to certain materials

Not right for me but prob ok for most folks

I wear 20/30 compression made by Sigvaris. When use this stick to remove the socks it bent at a piece coupling and won’t come apart! Plus the pieces wouldn’t completely join. Probably great for regular socks

Pros
  • I had hip surgery and was not allowed to bend to put my shoes on. Very easy to use for shoes.
Cons
  • The product may not be durable enough to withstand frequent use

Very helpful shoe horn!

I purchased this prior to having hip replacement surgery. So glad I did. It works perfect to help put on my shoe without bending over. The other end with the hooks were useful for helping me remove my socks. Also the hooks came in handy for pulling items on the floor over closer to me. The only thing I didn't like was it was hard to screw together. I'm just leaving it scewed together instead of trying to unscrew the device. I would recommend buying this to help get your shoes on without…

Pros
  • Cheap plastic. Seems like it will be ok if you're gentle with it.
Cons
  • The product may take up too much space in a closet or dresser drawer
