New Balance Champagne Metallic Girls' Running Shoes for Athletic Performance Review

It's great if your kid wears SMO! Normally at New Balance we need an XW but the W works great as it's so easy to put on and take off!

My preschooler loves these shoes. I would order a few pairs in larger sizes so she could wear them longer but they are sold out.

My daughter is almost 5 years old and this is the ONLY pair of shoes she has ever had and she is struggling to tighten. Because there are velcro straps on both sides, two hands are required to adjust them properly. They look very cute but they are so annoying.

My daughter loves these shoes, very comfortable and easy to put on and take off by herself. I've washed them and they still look great.

I'm an adult with small feet and it has always been a problem finding running shoes because I had a prosthetic hip and can't tie my laces. It is great. However, they are TERRIBLE! I wish they looked better but they are comfortable.

My son absolutely loves them. He's always on the go and doesn't like stopping and tying his shoelaces. However, the insole slips out too easily. I often have to correct them.

Perfect shoe for my student who uses afo. Cute shoes.. Only thing runs too small need to order 2 sizes bigger I think..! Velcro tongue on either side makes it easy to slip on over an afro.

They are light and strong and true to size. I really like that the sneakers don't have a separate tongue and the boot opens up a lot. So it is much easier for my 3.5 year old to put them on by himself. Velcro is strong and on both sides of the belt. I couldn't tell exactly what the red would look like from the picture, but it's neon red/orange. It's very bright and fun.

So many compliments from others on the style and look of these shoes. Bought these for our 20 month old as his older siblings have the same pair and fit well for older ages. The quality is there, but two things to note: Offers not one, but two velcro straps so toddlers can remove their shoes! ;) Better for a wider foot. They also fit a normal wide foot, but if your child has a narrow foot I bet they won't fit him/her.

My child/toddler had to wear orthopedic shoes. I brought them and the doctor said they were perfect. I wasn't sure if it opens on either side of the shoe and it does. These shoes are very cute and my daughter loves them but they are not as secure as other New Balance shoes she has had. This shoe would have been much better if it had a traditional strap going through the upper with velcro on one side rather than velcro on the inside and outside of each foot. Another problem with this design is that the inner flaps will rub against each other and twist, causing the velcro to not stay in place. I bought these shoes for my son he is a big little chap and these are the only shoes that will fit his foot. We tried about 10 different shoes from all the big companies like Carters, adidas, Nike and Convers. Even the "wide" shoes from other companies were not wide enough. These shoes are AWESOME! Both of my kids wear AFO and these are absolutely the best shoes we have found for them. I have recommended them to everyone. Our physiotherapists and orthopedists were so impressed that they have recommended it to their clients and others.
