Unreliable

Easy to insert, but not at all secure. If you want something to be secure, just screw it on. My son left the panel in place but didn't close the dog door properly. One of the dogs bumped into the door and bent the underside of the panels as she climbed in, she didn't hold it at all and now it's bent so she won't slide in. Oh, and there's a big gap between the panel. and doors at least 1/2 inch. I had to use a towel to keep out the cold drafts. not worth your money. I will not buy it again norโ€ฆ

High quality, good fit, a bit pricey

Much more convenient than using standard screws to attach/remove door panel several times a day. These slides are just as advertised and well made. However, they are expensive (which is why I put 4 stars), especially considering the cost of the front door. I can't imagine this standing up to repeated kicking with boots, but I don't know what type of dog door would stand up to such an attack. They offer us the certainty that whatever comes through the door at night must make a lot of noise. Iโ€ฆ

It's so useless. It doesn't look like a standard sliding dog door at all.

Product fits perfectly and works well but does not perform the most important function - it holds the door securely and securely. If you're thinking this works like a regular sliding dog door (which slides right up to the frame and is almost airtight), you're wrong. After you install these rails you will have a 0.5 to 0.75 inch gap between the dog flap and the cover that you will insert between these rails. I bought this so nothing can open the door at night and I don't have to lock the doorโ€ฆ
