Bought 3 years ago. I think the sunlight broke the clear plastic. I squeezed the oil and it cracked. I ordered a new one, it will be in 2 days. Great oiler for old clocks and sewing machines.

I am not satisfied with this pen oil, it is hard, the oil does not come out and that is why I buy this pen somewhere else for 3.99, that is an insane price that I would not buy. it's another 12.99 for this pen it's funny, please research before you buy.

This is perfect for our embroidery machine, we need to oil it every day before we start our business, it's easy to use, just turn it over and the oil will start dripping, turn it vertically and put the Cap back on. We need to lubricate a very tight spot and the tip is small enough to get oil in there and it can be filled. There's some sewing machine oil in there.

For the price I expected this oiler to work perfectly but instead it leaks enough that the oil gets all over the lid was and and in the storage tube when I received it. I have to keep the oiler wrapped in a small paper towel so it doesn't slowly drip onto everything in my toolbox. Don't get me wrong, it does NOT drip while you use it and doesn't affect how you use it, but the edge seal is ALWAYS oily. I have had this grease for a little over a year now and have been using it successfully. I like the precision the needle tip offers. However, after I started lubricating my machine normally, the oiler just stopped working. The oil didn't come out. The pin put in place went in so I can see it's kind of clogged, the oil just won't come out. And the tube is not empty either. Find out. I thought this butter dish will stay with me forever.

Well today I decided to try again. At first I thought it was a vapor barrier or something, so I unscrewed the top and replaced it. Nothing yet. Next, I found the smallest needle I could find and stuck it in the tip - that's all. Then the oil flowed easily; Shouldn't have (hence the 4 stars) but works great once unplugged. I actually use this on all my machines - feather weights, various old solid metal machines as well as my new sewing/embroidery machines. It's very secure in packaging so it won't smear oil on your drawer or other living space. Easy to take out of the box and use. A simple gentle squeeze releases 1 drop of oil right where you want it.
