The original glass lasted almost 5 years. This exchange didn't last 3 weeks. Tablet turned on, went to bed. The next morning there was a crack in the glass. When I picked it up to inspect it broke again. Extremely dissatisfied with the product.

Installation is easy, but the way to the installation site is not so easy. To replace it, you have to disassemble the entire device. And don't try to change the position once you've attached the screen to the front. You run the risk of breaking it like I did the first time.

Great product. Installation is a bit tricky, there are two installation videos on YouTube, one is about 50 minutes long and the other is much shorter. I would watch a shorter video to help remove the back panel, it makes that part easier to understand. Then a longer video walks you step-by-step through the rest of the process. Once installed it looks and works like new.

This product I received is not a Samsung screen replacement. The screen actually said AMSUNG, obviously a manufacturer error or a defective part. Unfortunately I didn't see it until the screen was changed. It doesn't work properly, jumps, I could barely enter my pattern for my lock screen and had to turn it off. Very disappointed and from the US so I can't order another one from another seller. The only good news is that it was cheap. I will definitely look elsewhere.

Broken glass has been replaced and now looks and works well. The product itself is as advertised - a perfect replacement. Before I found this, I figured I'd have to throw the tablet away or pay $100 to have a new glass installed. There were some problems extracting the old one. Some tutorial sites seem to imply that you can remove the glass from the front. Not true. You have to take it off the back and remove the innards to get at the glass. Had to purchase this item after my highly skilled partner was unable to remove the previous screen without damaging the digitizer. Ordered it, finally put everything back together and now it no longer recognizes the touch of a finger on the home or menu buttons, only the S-Pen and keeps opening applications on its own. Too much money and totally useless. It should be noted that this isn't the first tablet screen we've replaced, but it will likely be the last Samsung we've ever worked with. Save

Excellent digitizer. After watching the YouTube video "Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000/8010/8013 Battery and Screen Replacement – Disassembly and Assembly". Duration=52.50 min I watched the video, used a plastic fork and knife and a small Phillips screwdriver. Disassembly is the hardest part, but if you follow the instructions in the YouTube video to disassemble the tablet and stop at each step, then you'll do the same to reassemble.
