    had to drill new holes but works great

    My other exterior was flooded with water and looked like crap. Bought, installed in 5 minutes, no leaks. It was as close as possible to the original part so I had to drill new holes but it doesn't really matter. Good cheap buy.

    Accurate replacement in rough plumbing

    My wife and I have been living on the fifth wheel full time for 4.5 years. Our city water supply was leaking due to a micro tear in the body. This item is an exact replacement and was easy to install but like many RV parts it was not in an easily accessible location.

    Easy to install but started leaking after a few uses

    I found the unit worked well and was easy to install, so I tested it in a municipal water supply. It was five stars at first, but now that we've been using it regularly it's started to seep into the hold. I even installed a strain relief to avoid stress on the hose connection. Not too happy :(

    Just reapply and reapply. - Pipe fittings

    It's easy to remove and reinstall the old one. In my case, Pere and Pere were on a 1993 Safari diesel pusher; All I needed was a Phillips screwdriver and a pair of large pliers. Be sure to wrap the threaded connection with some type of sealing tape and only hand tighten as the plastic fitting may crack if you overtighten the fitting.

    So glad SHURFLO is still around

    I had to replace the original water pressure regulator on my 1997 Safari Trek RV because it had cracked and was leaking due to age. SHURFLO no longer carried that part number but was able to find a replacement thanks to this seller. It fits perfectly, no leaks and better PSI (65 instead of 50). Very happy with my purchase.

    Failed Too Quickly: Rough Plumbing

    I bought this from Revain to replace the exact same thing. The original failed after two years. The new one broke after two weeks. Both failures were due to a leak where it is held together by four bolts. The seal must fail or the plastic is too thin and fragile. It is better to use ready-made plumbing and create your own device to replace them. This is what I did and it works fine.

    Direct replacement to fit fittings

    Excellent direct replacement. The old one began to spatter heavily at the junction of the hose. It was a direct replacement. I think what I replaced was the original. If so, then it went on for 17 years. I hope this one lasts just as long. I bought a replacement from a camper supply store but it was a direct replacement and would require some modifications to make it work. This was cheaper and required nothing.

    Will not fit Rough Plumbing

    Purchased for a 2006 Winnebago Sightseer. I needed to replace the fresh water inlet which seemed like a good idea as it had a pressure regulator fitted. However, this is 1-3 inches too deep for the compartment in my unit, which would require removing the sheet metal panel and doing some magic with the tubing behind it. That too may be fine, but one of the screws is blocked by electrical components. It would take hours for something that should be easy to replace. Also, I'm not sure if an…

    Nice looking flush inlet, not so good outlet connection

    Installing the unit in my small house was easy and straight forward, the problem arose after I pressurized the system. The device claims it can take up to 125psi and reduce to 55psi. I have a 1 inch gravity feed tube that is closer to 50-60psi and as soon as I opened it fully the plastic wing nut and pressure fitting failed immediately. With no other solution, I found the 1/2 inch ear bow perfectly matched the threads after wrapping sealing tape around it. While the system is completely sealed…
