Works well and worth buying

I use this brand for my sculptures. As with other Ave colors, the end result of curing is amazing. It's a bit of a learning curve for me since I've recently started using it, but it has smooth consistency and good working time frames. It also lends itself well to baked polymer clay for repairs. When my sculpts get too big to fit in my oven I use Apoxie Sculpt for the final stages of assembly and detailing as it does not require baking to bake and is very durable once cured.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • High price

Wonderful! - Compounds for modeling

I used this to make four sets of claws for the harpy costume. I've used Apoxie 2-Component Sculpt in the past and I like its durability and ease of modeling. As much as it pains me to pay twenty bucks for a few small jars of the product, it really gets the job done. Don't let the small packaging fool you! I actually mixed too much Apoxia for my purpose - just handclaws - and ended up making all four sets and then some! If you're like me and use Apoxium for a lot of crafting, bite the bullet and

It is easy to work with and very durable.

Before trying this product, I bought what I could find on the fly - must try this shopping spree. It's a good thing that the modeling clay couldn't withstand the storm. Since my project was an observation ball, I needed something more permanent. Saw this on Make It Artsy and ordered a £1 set. I was able to make two sets of 4 inch observation balloons. It was easy to use and has been very durable so far. As suggested by Make It Artsy, I used different shovels to avoid contaminating each other. I

Great product all round

Love this stuff! Apoxie Sculpt is so versatile and very easy to work with. At first it's a very soft and plastic putty, which then picks up details perfectly as it hardens. it adheres to vertical surfaces, is easily smoothed out with a wet finger (becomes a little cloudy when wet with water, but returns to its true color when dry) and is suitable for aquariums. I've used it for sculpting and for repairs. very impressive. Once it has hardened it can easily be cut with a dremel. The only downside

  • Quick change
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Very useful for many projects and repairs

Excellent! I've used it for several small projects. One replaced a broken speaker leg. It was easy to replicate the shape of the foot. I let it dry for an hour and then used a knife to trim off the excess and get the exact shape I wanted. The next morning it is firm and spins great. Another project involved joining two pieces together, but I needed to "bridge" the 1 inch gap. This product acts as an adhesive and filler. This is especially useful when trying to glue parts that don't fit…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Contact seller

I have used this to make elaborate replicas of some antique pieces. I have made silicone molds before and tried making liquid resin replicas for a long time, always had problems with air bubbles causing defects in the finished product. My first time using Apoxie Sculpt and the finished pieces looked much more professional with no air bubbles. I have to take care of things like fold lines since I'm pushing them into the mold instead of casting them, but I haven't had much of a problem with this…

4.5 stars -- sticks when mixed but holds shape well

Love this stuff. I mainly use it for sculpting figures and props; But it is also very convenient for home and garden tools and car interior repair. You can stick it to most surfaces as a permanent filler or extension. And it's waterproof once cured (Woo!). I find the working consistency to be much more comfortable than other two part epoxy putties I have used. In the past I mostly modeled with clay, resin or paper clay. These clays allow me to keep the project closed and wet (for paper and…
