Bytom uses Tensority PoW mining and supports blockchain interoperability. The tri-layer approach makes it nimble, and it has so far passed through both U.S. and Chinese regulation. This project is toeing all the right lines and is a seriously undervalued crypto project. When AI machine learning algorithms and big data start ruling the technological roost, the value of Bytom will really be seen.
Pros
- Bytom has a triple-layer approach that divides the blockchain into transactions, transmissions, and asset interactions. It submitted itself to the SEC Howey Test and avoided classification as a security. It's associated with 8BTC and very popular in China. The mainnet launched, and the Ethereum-based testnet is still up.
Cons
- Because it's a Chinese project, English support is thin. It's difficult to get much information on this project in the western world.
