Bitcoin came with the need to improve Peer-to-peer transactions which will be faster, less centralised and more secured means of making payments. But with it's shortcomings, came the Advent of many other coins. One of such is Cannation. The Cannation project was built to provide speed in transaction handling as it uses a peer-to-peer technology, this transactions can be said to be safe. As a mineable coin, just like Bitcoin, Miners solves puzzles to make a transaction go through. This project may have seemed to be all perfect at first, but it later came to be abandoned. I can see the coin is still listed and very well, might still be traded, on Yobit exchange, I did notice that it's website and block explorer are all gone. The links to those sites are both broken with the main site put up for sale and the explorer, not loading up a thing.
Without a working explorer, I can't say if transactions are possible to be made and with the coin available on Yobit, users may still think the project is active. For this, I advice not to buy
