Pros

AR/VR stuff is awesome. The Dean almost lost his mind in a bad one designed by Admiral Anderson. As the tech progresses, I could see this replacing the old Blockbuster (TM) night.

Cons

AR/VR is a luxury concept. There are lots of people struggling with strife and loss in their nation. They could use the reality vacation more than most, but need their other needs met first - like safety in their home, school, business, or place of worship. Once there is backlash for the rich enjoying this concept, it will be able to be adopted more widely.
