In my post today, I will talk about another project, Cardano.
Cardano is a general purpose blockchain. It's a blockchain where you can develop smart contracts and DApps.
This project is powered by a consensus algorithm.
They also have a local currency. The name of this coin is ADA.
I can say that it is a third generation blockchain. Because everything they do has a scientific approach to problem solving with academic peer reviews.
Everything they do is based on three design principles: scalability, interoperability, sustainability.
Cardano has a special approach to programming languages for its smart Contracts. Unlike other competitors, Cardano uses a functional programming approach.
On this platform, I can say that it is provably safe by providing mathematically verifiable security against attackers with the Ouroboros Consensus Algorithm.
As a result, Cardano has been absolutely successful in offering its solutions compared to other general purpose blockchains. They do not compromise on timelines and quality and safety. The size of this effort is very ambitious and we are slowly seeing the results of the production for years.
