It's a jack of all trades and a master of none. It does not provide the best features but it is good in terms of privacy, speed and decentralization. Its focus on the development and marketing of mass adoption as an easy-to-use cryptocurrency can gain top spot for more general customers and merchants. However, it should not be overlooked that the pre-mining scandal happened in the early days, as it meant that power imbalances and incentives existed within the dash development team. Aside from that, if the dash evolution's payment platform becomes what it claims it is, the dash may be much closer to a wider adoption than any other currency at this time.
