Docademic - Decentralized healthcare services for the world!
Docademic Platform utilizes the nature of blockchain as an unchangeable and private ledger to deliver free basic healthcare service to everyone in the world and establish a decentralized ecological database of mankind in hope of enhancing our health. The main components of Docademic Platform are Docademic App and Docademic for Doctors social network. While Docademic App provides global users with Human Doctor-AI assisted Video Telemedicine service, Docademic for Doctors social network is where doctors improve their knowledge, access to the patients, and accessing epidemiological data. There are some good points as well as bad points about this project that I want to point out.
Pros
- The idea behind this project is a chance to help people around the world access basic healthcare services
- They have released working products being used in many countries in the world
- The use of modern technologies such as AI or blockchain is very excellent to provide users with products and services
Cons
- Connecting through the screen may result inaccurate diagnose
- The project should rely heavily on KYC process to protect the database
- There roadmap is very general right now
