DogeCoin, the memecoin
Dogecoin was born to be a mockery of the most famous Bitcoin and other altcoins. It is based on a famous internet meme. I personally invested a small amount in this coin because I thought it was fun. I did not delve too much into the project and the blockchain that was inserted later. It is certainly not a long-term investment, so it is preferable to rely on more famous coins and some with more solid projects. I still keep my coin although the recent price fall, i believe that it will reach 1$. Let's say that if you have some extra cash and want to join the meme, DogeCoin is the one for you.
