Forked form Litecoin.

It has some major issues that raise some red flags. There is very little information about who developed the project. Another issue is the lack of whitepaper or any kind of documentation that can give some insight into the technical aspects of the project.

Pros
  • It uses the scrypt algorithm for its POW basic mining processes.
  • It prevents non white-listed pools from mining more than five blocks in a row.
  • It also intends to be a payment network. However, instead of aiming for global adoption.
Cons
  • Replacing the national currency of a country is not an easy task to achieve.

It is one of the oldest coals that is still active in the market. Over time, its performance has shown less volatility than other cryptocurrencies in the market. Analysts are optimistic about its long-term growth potential.
