This genuinely isn’t meant as a purely hate driven shilling post, but Empowr isn’t anything more than a scam in my opinion. I’ve ‘earned’ 193 MILLION Empowr coins over the 2 weeks I’ve been using it. As mentioned, in that time my (non withdrawable for 90 days) balance fluctuated between 21k and $20. Something is up with this site, maybe they’re collecting personal data.
TL/DR; Stay away. Do NOT enter your PayPal/Bank info unless you’re okay with being charged. Don’t expect ‘support’ staff to be helpful much (if at all)
Pros
- -easy to ‘earn’ coins (not usable though?)
Cons
- -IOS app continuously crashes & lacks functionality -desktop site is messy -THREE MONTH waiting period to withdraw any coins. To add, they only allow one exchange at the time of writing. The exchange doesn’t allow US clients and Empowr fails to mention this. -There’s not any legitimate people/content on the site, ‘weird’ is the best way to put it. Boring as well. -Account Balance fluctuates (by 100x no joke) daily. One day I had $21,000 in Empowr coins, I refreshed the page and it was only $65 somehow. -moderators don’t speak English well -there’s no clear directions regarding your ‘earnings’ aside from a CONSTANT push from the site that you enter your PayPal information to ‘earn more’ (they charge you) -this list could be endless
