It Use Common Programming Language
Lisk is a brain project of Oliver Beddows and Max Kordek who noted the confusion of some developers who may want to write dapp on smart contract of Ethereum for example but doesn't understand the language used and may have to go and learn the language, but all this problem is being solved by lisk by using common programming language which is Javascript. It was earlier launched in 2014 as Crypti and later rebranded in May 2016 as Lisk.
The developers can make use of Lisk sidechain, while the lisk developers will take care of what is happening in the mainchain for security purpose, so even if there is any bug it will only affect the sidechain. the project is blessed by good team who are highly dedicated to the project. Lisk has four major parts, which are Back-end- code, sidechains, Front-end-code and concesus Algorithm, it uses delegated proof of stake. Their services include but not limited to decentralized hosting, identity, smart contract execution ,oracles etc.
The native token which is also named lisk, with LSK as symbol is doing fine in the crypto market, because those that invested in it during it's ICO have realized their capital more than thousand fold and is sill doing fine being available on many popular exchanges. As at today the price is over 1.6 dollars remembering that it wa sold for 0.075 at ICO.
Lisk is a good project and it will go a long way in helping the developers.
