Review on Lition by Syed Adnan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Review on Lition.

The market potential for Lition’s solution is hardy quantifiable, as the technology can be applied to various different use cases and
industries. Lition’s first use case was based in the energy industry, therefore it would make the most sense to compare it to other
decentralized energy trading platforms. What separates Lition from its competitors here, is the fact, that Lition already has a working
product, licenses and customers all over Germany already.

I expect Lition to move into the DeFi space next, with the rollout of products, such as their banking/loan platform and their ability
to host STO’s on the platform, which we couldn’t find any relevant updated information about.

Pros
  • Lition’s technology is developed in cooperation with SAP, whose chief innovation officer Dr. Jürgen Müller is also an advisor to Lition.
  • Lition is fully GDPR compliant which allows for use cases such as energy trading, financial services and handling of sensitive healthcare data. It can also be used as a platform for Security Token Offerings (STOs).
  • Already launched a P2P energy trading dApp the Lition Energy Exchange (Lition.de), as their first use case, that is commercially live in a mass market with real revenues and real customers in over 700 German cities.
  • Lition published an extensive roadmap for 2020, outlining the companies business strategy and plans to further increase the adoption of their platform and products.
Cons
  • No clear target market or direction. This could become troubling for a young company as there are probably not enough funds available, to pursue every potential use case with required backing, in terms of use cases.
