It brings a decentralized content delivery system running on the blockchain, with an emphasis on privacy and security. Privacy is important, so when distributed, all data is encrypted, ensuring that no one else can access it.
It is focusing heavily on a price that may not be enough with the average Internet user to gain traction. The Dapp level of the project is intrinsic although more attractive is the set of infrastructures that have a lot of potential for alternative use cases.
Pros
- Far from being decentralized messaging daps towards focusing together to work with other projects that will benefit from the value addition of the Phantasma infrastructure, this route has the potential to provide useful services to other projects on the NEO blockchain.
- The roadmap is looking great with past milestones and future milestones reaching Q4 2019 All it's clear they are not throwing things away.
- The team is actually becoming extremely technologically proficient with a whole lot of computer scientists and engineers. The team and advisory board are also incredible.
Cons
- The potentially bad side is, presumably, any information exchanged with the email system outside the blockchain will be kept on centralized servers, thus defeating the purpose of creating a decentralized email client.
- Team members is currently working on multiple projects. It's not a huge deal but it's worth mentioning. When members are working on multiple projects, we sometimes see project development slow.
