I have an eye on Soma and a few more for the post fork, I hope there are many people in this situation, because in addition to excellent return and the birth of something great, we will have source of application and continuous growth of our assets. I went again through the whitepaper, what i think will differentiate this project from the online marketplace we are used to is the rewarding system they are going to implement. This will basically create a market into the market where users get rewarded by promoting and adding value to products being on sale. People can get rewarded with USR tokens and make some profit out of it. At the moment the closest thing to this in market like ebay and amazon is the review of the product, some are very good but none of these get any reward. Think about it
Pros
- You gotta pay a little fee to get it listed on the site. One can always use the contract address way though but, that' not user friendly at all. Ebay and facebook had a successful working platform, before they approached the public for investments. Both of this platform, can't claim that. Again, it's not a bad thing cos it seem that this is the new way of raising capital now, but it's unfair to compare this companies with the aforementioned.
Cons
- Pathetic developers. They think price rised week ago or so coz they announced sth lol too bad it was just a small pump and dump During the ICO, each 1500 ETH collected will launch a marketing campaign into a new geographic location. Active members of the community can, by their own actions, facilitate the expansion of the community in their geographic location and import SOMA’s solution to improve social trading. Is there a list of those geographic location. I know it already has been asked but cant found the answer. They already raised +14k ETH so that already are +10 geographic locations.
