Easy, and quick way to send money into other exchanges.
This should be looked at more extensively by bigger corporations for large, speedy transactions. It offers effortless transactions in a fraction of the time of many others. If I am having trouble getting money into an exchange, I know that I can always count on transferring XLM for an easier and cheaper option than bank transfers. Accepted by most exchanges, once again in my case, I don't have the need to attach my bank account to every exchange to buy into them. Using one and transferring the XLM seems safer than having all of your information out there. That is what gives me the peace of mind.
Pros
- Transactions at low cost from anywhere. Speed of transfer is phenomenal.
Cons
- Does not get the attention that many other cryptocurrencies get.
