Streamr's Data Management System
Our world today is over run with the digital space and we all know, for every solution you create to a problem, there is almost always, a corresponding challenge that reads its head. Today we have numerous digital solutions to the equally digital problems and shortcomings experienced in the cryptocurrency community. Data management is a very important aspect of the digital space and it is here that platforms like Streamr come in.
Data management is more or less the most significant aspect of Streamr's establishment. The project has a major focus of building a decentralized structure for real-time data, by replacing centralized message interfaces with a kind of global peer-to-peer network.
Streamr plans to make use of cryptography to enable data sharing and data monetization. I think what Streamr has achieved basically allows companies to deploy very scalable and real-time messaging. With the peer-to-peer structure, communication is between servers and so, data is relayed in real-time.
The Streamr Platform is robust and very scalable. I really like the idea of this transfer of data without the use of middlemen. Streamr also uses smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. DATA which is the currency for Streamr, itself is an ERC20 based token. Personally I think Streamr is a very valuable platform. There will always be an influx of data and we will always definitely need an efficient data management system with the right tools for the job.
