Trying to solve a worldwide issue of free and open interent through a technological solution. The core team members are active on Twitter and Telegram and not only post project updates but also provide insights into their thought process.
The CEO (Justin Tabb) has a great ~weekly live stream on YouTube covering current updates and future outlook. He also takes Q&A which is a great way for you to ask any question you might have, I have had a few of my questions answered directly. The telegram group has a good number of dedicated admins/moderators to answer any questions or update the community about broad questions.
If you want to be in the front row of a project that you have invested in then Substratum is a great project to follow.
Pros
- Communication (amazing), community outreach, quality of code and support.
Cons
- I wish they would compile the source code faster so we can test out new versions. But it is open source so if you are able to compile it yourself you can test out new releases faster.
