It is an open source blockchain development platform and cryptocurrency. The token is a merge minable SHA256 coin. It also gives an layout of helpful services which leverage on the Bitcoin protocol and blockchain technology. Its platform lets you generate your own token and you can also use it for trading. Syscoin comes from a fork of the Bitcoin protocol and is merge mined with Bitcoin. This has given us one of the most protected, constant, and scalable networks to ever exist.

They allow the use of aliases. These allow you to register a wallet address to a much easier to remember the name for sending or receiving payments. This will be a wished feature for mainstream users, and other platforms don't have it yet.

For the privacy advocates, they allow the use of a totally decentralized marketplace with encrypted messaging that can't be shut down. This is a peer to peer platform, and to create listings you must host them on your own computer using the application. The individual advantage of this is that there's no central website to be removed. The disadvantage is that it's difficult to get people to use a system like this.

Shortly, I genuinely like the blockmarket application, and the simplicity of use their product offers. I have some preservation about whether mainstream users will ever adopt something they have download like this to make purchases. They also have some rivals who are much farther ahead than they are.
