Pros

ZCash minus the fees for miners. Forked from ZCash october 2016. Equihash shaped PoW zero knowledge proof with additional privacy for end users. A BitcoinPrivate / ZClassic air drop for those with either.

Cons

The exchanges on which you can trade fiat for ZCash are yet to be sufficiently developed to have a competitive, competent, customer proof experience. Whichever exchange figures out how to give people what they want - for free- and have it work - and it be easy to deal with, they will win. The coins not on those unicorn exchanges will not do as well with market absorption. As of last month this coin was not able to be stored on the Ledger Nano S - best entry point cold wallet - but that may be corrected in the coming weeks / months.
