It's so nice to have multiple Nertz decks together. I learned this game as a kid from one of the families, I didn't even know it was a "real" game at all. We are very happy that we found a set of rules and instructions. My daughter even taught it to all her friends who love this game. This set made it easy to bring an actual game box to game night. I've been playing this game since I was in school (we called it Peanuts). We'll start with 12 decks of cards, which we've marked on each of the backs with a different pattern, like a star, circle, or whatever, because you need to be able to tell which deck the card is from. This game is crazy! It's hard to find people to play with as it's scary to play with lol. If you can play solitaire, you can play netz. You start with 5 cards in a row, the right card has a face down deck of 12 cards. They all start playing when people start putting down aces and say "ace down". Then everyone tries to get rid of the cards (namely the deck) by buying a formation on aces. You can only build the same suits and had to take in numerical order, starting with Ace, Two, Three, etc…

I don't use them to play Nertz. I bought them to make them easier to separate into separate tables after shuffling. The difficulty is that not all decks are the same size. They can differ by about one mm. For example, if I shuffle a pale green deck with pink and dark blue, if I shuffle them all I'll only see pink and dark blue. The green deck is a little shorter so it doesn't hit my thumb when I bend the decks to shuffle them together. Otherwise these are good cards. They aren't textured like…

I bought this set because my family loves to play net, but we're having trouble finding decks with unusual colors (to indicate their role in the game) that have a normal print to have . It is difficult for older people to determine the numbers and suits of fancy cards. While I wish these decks were even bigger, for this size the print is fairly simple and easy to read. Although it has 12 colors, some of them are difficult to distinguish, especially for the elderly who have initial vision…
