Work as advertised but use common sense

I've read reviews of people getting burned after heating one of the handles in a hot pan or saucepan: this is COMPLETELY the user's fault , not that of the product. Hardly any material can heat up in the long run. So ANY heating pad or glove can have enough time. These parts are designed to be attached to the hand or used to lift the lid for a limited period of time. If you leave one of these on the handle of a cast iron skillet for 15 minutes, it will definitely get hot! Why does anyone think this won't happen? Anyway, I've been using them all for a month or two and have never come close to getting hot when used properly. Very easy to clean and great to have so many in the pack.
