Review on πŸ”§ Digital Multimeter FLUKE-101 by Andrew Dickens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My first happiness! Fluke 101

After buying different multimeters from different brands I finally ordered my first Fluke. I also ordered a case for it. I call him my "Baby Fluke"! This is a small counter. It's tiny compared to my Klein MM1000. It's lightweight, but definitely not a cheap feel. The test leads that come with the kit are decent and sensitive enough that the meter will beep slightly if you touch the ends together on a signal trace test. I usually test my multimeters with the beep and how quickly it reads the voltage of a AAA battery. It's fast with no overshoot. It doesn't measure current and I knew that beforehand. I just wanted a small, reliable and secure meter. I have a large benchtop meter and large handheld meters that are good, but I wanted something smaller and lighter that I can take anywhere I need basic measurements. After watching a few YouTube videos of people opening up the Fluke 101, I realized that this is a safe multimeter. It has reliable fuses and explosion protection. One guy even threw 15,000 volts at him and he survived. It was enough to make me feel safe with the Fluke 101. It's the lowest price, the smallest fluke and it's safe. You can get a multimeter with a lot more features for the same price, but you won't buy a multimeter as safe as this Fluke. If you are looking for a small, simple, handy and safe multimeter, then this Fluke 101 is perfect!
