I love the look of the door sills so they deserve 5 stars in that regard. Of course, the rearguards could be a bit longer, but they are sufficient. I was hoping they would give a little more support to our beagles who use the threshold when jumping down. While this helps prevent scratches, they don't really offer much grip improvement. The material is a softer plastic, not as slippery as a bare window sill, but still not a huge improvement. So if you want the look (and it looks amazing) I highly recommend it. If you need extra traction, it may not be everything you're hoping for. I'm still glad I bought them, they're a nice addition to my Jeep obsession.
