We really were excited about this collar for our Goldador puppy for him to wear camping and on the river. It is cute but He wore it for 5 days and when we returned home from the trip, we noticed red marks on his skin under his fur on the bottom of his neck when we bathed him. We removed the collar and 2 days later felt healing scabs all under his neck. We took him to the vet and they said between the type of material of the collar , him being wet, and just a little bit of pulling while on a leash, it created pressure sores from the rubbing.We will continue to use it for very short periods of time in the water but beware to not leave it on when your pup is drying or if your dog pulls at all on the lead. He has a ton of fur on his neck so it was hard to see the damage it caused and it should have given him a better barrier to prevent this.
