My 2013 Tundra truck lights stopped working and when I went to change the bulbs I found that the factory headlight reflectors were actually worn out by the heat of the lightbulbs had melted. . I think that's a common complaint about old tundras. I ordered this unit as a replacement because it uses LEDs for all lights and I prefer not to have heat issues. Installation was easy but can be tedious as the spot where the 2 studs screw the light to the truck is very small and difficult to reach, especially if you have big fat fingers like mine. You should definitely have a deep 10mm socket before attempting to install it, a regular socket will not go deep enough into standard studs to remove the factory lamp housing. Be patient. You'll be hand tightening these nuts since they won't be visible, and you'll be working through a roughly 2-inch hole. Whatever you do, don't drop nuts, you'll never find them again. It will probably take a few tries, just keep at it I took my time, had the right tools and a lot of patience and I'm very happy with the results. The charging light is very bright and so is the brake light. I think it really looks better than the original.
