I bought the LG brand the last time my husky decided to eat my remote control. I spent $39.99 on a more expensive one and on a whim I bought this one after I bought it today. I put batteries in this remote control, pointed it at my LG TV, pressed the power button and my TV turned on. Wow, less than $8. The remote control looks the same as the LG remote control. but much cheaper.
