These are strong boards which I like but they are NOT non-porous as advertised and anything you cut enters the board through knife cuts and cannot be sanitized are washed in the dishwasher or scraped off manually no matter how many. I sliced the mushrooms and the brown residue is visible in every stain, even after multiple washes. Anything with color shows up, but things like meat or chicken that aren't visible also get stuck in these cuts, but they just aren't visible. Full of bacteria. Not hygienic!
