Drains batteries quickly

Nice lights but they drain batteries quickly. Each thread requires 3 AA batteries. They begin to fade after 8-10 days. The batteries must be replaced at least every 2 weeks. They look good and are easy to assemble as you don't have to worry about an outlet, but they're expensive when you factor in the cost of the batteries.
