I don't have a large desk and needed to somehow make room for a monitor and two laptops. I bought a tripod stand (not a turntable) and it works great to put my 20" monitor on. I can store my 13" laptop underneath while I work on another laptop. Even a 15 inch laptop fits under it, even if it is the lowest height. I wasn't expecting it to be great for the price, but it turned out to be a lot better. The stand is lightweight yet sturdy. Main plate and 3 separate legs that can be plugged in. You can change the height by removing the leg pieces and they come with rubber rings to place on the bottom. The rubber rings prevent the stand from sliding on my desk.
