The padding on the bottom wasn't as good as I had hoped and over time it slips off and you have to constantly tug on the cord to free the material to stretch . To be honest it's better to buy a real gel seat than a gel cover, real seats have a lot more gel pads and are wider. I'm a skinny and fairly bony person and it still hurts me unless I disengage the rear suspension to take the hit off my butt. Just spend the extra $5 or $10 and get a brand new gel seat as the cover just slides off over time which is annoying but for $5 it's better than the stock seat I have on my bike with a flimsy hard leather seat, so not a total write-off, you get what you pay for, but if you already have a terribly uncomfortable seat, buy it until you have a real gel seat.
