The tool provided makes it very easy and quick to replace this tape with an old one. The hardest part of the process was figuring out how many links to remove. It adds a bit of weight to the watch and I didn't notice any difference from the original. I rubbed them a little. I wear a watch every day and my old Macbook scratches the strap when I'm typing and resting my wrists on the computer. Plus, they age well and feel great.
