excellent box Service, but no X5.

I'm awaiting a reply from Nextsport regarding this X5 Pro Scooter I bought. To be honest I will update my full review if I agree with Nextsport on this scooter. There is a serious headset defect. Issues with both X5s I received. UPDATE: The design of this scooter "looks" nice. Wheels are above average. The bearings are ABEC 9, which is also above average. The handlebars are solid and the three-bolt clamp is average for the price. A handle wore out very quickly. One grip resolved to the crossbar within two weeks, and the other grip did not resolve, which is odd. But that is not an obstacle in this price range. Grips are a fast-wearing element. And they are cheap, even high-quality. But in"Performance" the headset loses. He's getting weaker and weaker. It doesn't stay chosen. The head tube bearings and cups used in the deck's head tube are loose. They have to be pressed in. This leads to a permanent weakening after little use. My 9 year old son weighs 82 pounds. He is an intermediate user. He has been riding scooters since he was 5 years old. And he needs me to wheeze the headset at the local skate park about every 15 minutes. He's not "silent" or anything. I've learned to take allen wrenches with me, otherwise the day is a failure. Nextsport has great customer service. They sent me a second X5 and told me to keep the first one. As for the parts, I thought it was good. I got the second one very quickly, from California to New York. Unfortunately, I encountered the exact same problems. Only poor quality in the headset and in the handset deck. Same problem. There is mass production. I disassembled the headset and measured with calipers like I did with the first X5. The parts just don't fit. I am very familiar with scooters and skateboards as I have been riding them for many years. I spoke to Nextport today and explained that unfortunately I can't return this via AMZ because the window for doing so is closed. I explained that another third replacement would be unsuccessful. They said a return would be appropriate and that is their customer loyalty policy. Satisfaction even after the return window has closed. They said to keep two X5s and my refund was processed within 3 days. However, I would rate Nextsport as an honest company and that they have exceeded their responsibilities as a seller here on Revain. My son can no longer drive this X5 as I feel it is not suitable for him or most drivers unless you carry an Allen key every 15 minutes to fix it and it takes 10 minutes, disassemble and re-tighten the headset. Also, you have to remove and re-center the rod every time. When it wears off, the steering becomes very sloppy and all associated headset components wear excessively. Even occasional driving on the road presents the problems mentioned above. But in the end, Nextsport provided quality support and said they would refund my purchase price. I can go ahead and buy a different brand of scooter for my son. If you're buying a scooter for the first time, after initial use, the X5 scooter might look like the wheels are loose, but it's actually a headset. This requires some scooter knowledge that is not covered in the X5 manual. The steering column is the most important and sensitive component of every scooter. Conduct a scooter drop test from a height of approximately 6 inches. The sound heard should sound like a solid tap with no vibration and this is considered dialed. If it sounds like dropping a bag of coins, it won't be chosen. And should be fixed, not used. When you buy this X5 you can rest assured that at least the after-sales service is reliable. I just feel like this X5 model isn't a good example of the Fusion Scooter brand. I'm sure hundreds if not thousands of these X5s were made this way. I am sure that Fusion Sponsored Pro riders will not try this X5. If that were the case, the headset issue might have been fixed/resolved during production of the 2018 X5. FYI, I noticed a paid review on this site where her daughter gives high marks on a Fusion scooter. She claims that the scooter was made available to her for review at a discount, and I'm probably saying that for free. As this is the usual place for sellers here at AMZ. Free product in exchange for detailed POSITIVE feedback. Unfortunately she is NOT reviewing the same X5 scooter for sale here. The label on the scooter reads "PRO X5". It differs fundamentally from the described X5 shown here. The rating looks impressive, but be careful. She is a professional reviewer for Revain. lol. Watch the video for yourself. Make up your own mind. I gave 3 stars. )
