Review on TYC 700271 Replacement Blower Assembly by Richard Alemayehu

I ordered this fan assembly for my 2005 Mini because the price seemed a lot cheaper than the dealer. The first device I received had a broken bracket. I sent it back and got a second one a few weeks later. This unit had a cracked fan assembly, but I figured it wasn't serious enough to prevent the unit from working. I installed the unit and everything worked fine, although the fan seemed louder than the replacement. Unfortunately, the device failed about 8 weeks after installation. I am very disappointed in the quality and would not recommend it to anyone. Stick to the dealer part.
