Small balancing charger, big cost

Garage door opener lead acid battery failed after 5 years instead of buying a new heavy duty battery I decided to use the old 18650 cells I had at home to make a battery to build . 12V battery. With this 4S protection board, I was able to build a 14V LIon battery that is half the size of the original and 4 times lighter. The protection board protects the battery from overcharging/discharging and also balances the individual cells.
