Not all dogs respond to the Holt collar

I have purchased two Holt dog collars and my dogs could be the problem. They didn't approve of Holt at all. I tried everything to make it comfortable to wear, but no snausage in the world could bribe my two dogs into a comfortable arrangement. They refused to leave and continued trying to pry their heads out of their collars. One of my dogs cried out as he tried to free himself from the collar. The neighbors found us more interesting than anything else on TV. I suspect the problem might be that my dogs are Scottish Terriers. They are stubborn and that can come with the breed. I cringe when I think of the dollars I've spent getting these girls to walk harmoniously together. As we walk out the door, one pulls left, the other pulls right, and a fight ensues. I bought Holt collars after they knocked me out, hit my head on the concrete and passed out. The dogs didn't care that I had a concussion, they continued to misbehave. My little Scottish "ladies" wear thundershirts now. They don't know what to do with it, but they fight to be first in line to wear the shirt and they're doing fine. I think it would be so exciting for her to have something like a holt on my face, like a plastic bag on my head. Who knows these things? Several people have recommended Holt to me and have been successful. Nobody had Scotty. Good luck to you and your dogs.
