This cable was perfect for me. I use it to connect my PS4 DualShock to my Android phone for gaming. If you're looking for an OTG connection, which is what I use it for, this works fine. This will also charge your phone if you plug it into a different port, so the controller won't drain your battery like it does if you don't have that cable. Be sure to test the cable on other devices before deciding that the cable isn't working. It could be your device. I was very happy I bought 2 in case I lose one. The only thing wrong was the product photo as the cable is jet black instead of grey/black, but that was actually a plus for me. Overall a great purchase.
