Replacing a legend is always bittersweet, but the i7-10700KF Prime Day 2021 deal was enough to keep me going. Achieving ten years of consistent performance with the i5-2500K @ 4.2GHz is incredibly cost-effective. I've never had a problem with any of the Intel processors I've used (nor the AMD processors I've used in the past). Excellent thermals and performance. I haven't overclocked it and not sure if I need it. But it might tinker a bit in the future. Well, if there is such an opportunity. Looking another decade into the future.
