Works great but I have an older Bissell machine and Bissell advised me to add 8 ounces of 2X shampoo to the formula reservoir and then fill with water to the level of the non-concentrated formula. . I haven't tried it yet, but I know for a fact that if you just fill the formula reservoir with formula, you'll end up with too much lather. Then it becomes necessary to wash the carpet. At the same time, the carpet is slightly oversaturated with water, trying to get rid of excess shampoo. I speak from experience.
