Takes some effort but works
I love this little device. 31 inches is all you need to clear the drain of most sinks. Now it took me a bit of twisting and turning (and flexing the tip) to get into the elbow joint/trap, but lowering it there and twisting it around a few times freed my completely clogged sink, saving me a call from the plumber and no use, nasty chemicals that don't work most of the time anyway (at least in this sink). , you have to work on it and think about how it will go down the drain (go slowly and twist a little to get it through the twists in the trap), but it works.
