Review on 🍳 Chantal Induction 21 Steel 7-Piece Nonstick Cookware Set with Ceramic Coating by Wendy Barents

Received these as part of a promotion when I bought the new GE induction range. I was happy with the steel but disappointed with the non-stick coating. For the record, I've cooked with carbon steel and iron my entire life and I know how to care for a skillet. I don't know how they can be called non-stick as almost nothing sticks, but even that is really uneven. I cooked the scallops last night and spread them around the pan after heating the pan to medium-medium heat and then adding oil to the hot pan before adding the food. Some drained well but left a lot of residue, others just got stuck. Cleaning the pan is a nightmare - even right after cooking when I'm hot I have a hard time separating the food and it only gets worse. My wife prefers nonstick and hates it too, so we bought a cheap Farberware Millennium stainless steel nonstick cookware set that works a lot better if you're into nonstick.
